Awesome food There was great service food was amazing all the the bad ratings lies

If only they had real butter and did not chop scrambled eggs. Bacon is 5 stars. Grits bland. Coffee is watery. Waitresses are 5 star and very pleasant even at 2 am . Pancakes would be wonderful with butter and real maple syrup. Wish they had Jimmy Dean sausage. Bland sausage. They need to up their game.

It's disgusting. You place a order to go, drive 10 miles to pick it up, and when you finally get back home you realize that they didn't give you all of your meal... You call them and all they can say is... "If you want to drive back, we'll give the rest to you." What a load of BS. How absurd. How many trips does a person have to make in order to get the meal you ordered?

Slow is the word. Long waiting times.

I don't normally do negative reviews, but this time I have to. My wife watched a waitress rearrange the orders so her regulars could get served first. It took us 45 minutes to get sandwiches. The fries were hot but we're barely cooked. We were trying to support a local place. Skip this one.

Great food best I had from there in long time

Fast, friendly service. Open 24 hours Thursday thru Sunday, a great place to grab something to eat.

To be honest the food was not very good. The waitress lied to me about the drinks being included with the meal( that's why I ordered what I did) very expensive for what we got $22 for breakfast ..... I should have went to Hardees

Food was good, service is a little slow, but I believe it is where the food is being cooked to order and is served fresh off the grill. I would recommend this establishment if you are not in a hurry.

We’re from Florida and stopped here for some waffles, they were so good!!! And the bacon was super crunchy and delicious. Really polite sweet staff too. Thanks for making our vacation even better!

Food was good and fresh but the grits were runny and blan. The prices were very modest and the service was good. Could use more tables with chairs for people who don't fit in the smallish booths. Will dine there again.

Great food at reasonable prices

OK "greasy spoon" place for breakfast, which is the only meal we have eaten there. Breakfast food is good. Ladies bathroom is filthy, and my husband says men's room is too.

Took forever to get a waitress. Cook and staff are extremely slow. Food was bland. Nothing good to say.

Diner is very dirty. Service is extremely slow. Waitress makes excuses for slowness. The dishwasher does the dishes right I front of the dining cot ter. Splash shield is a good idea.

It used to be great but they no longer have fresh homemade slaw and they boil the hot dogs. YUCK!!! And, the last time I was there, the cook had facial hair. I'll not go back.

For an old-time diner experience with delicious cheap food - this is your place! Friendly service but as locals have learned, know what to order right when you get there or it may take awhile. Great Americana dining.

Visited today first time won't be back. Got chef salad it was mostly frozen. Waitress apologized asked if wanted something else. I said no but was still charged for it. I thought shouldn't have. We paid but won't go back.

Old school, very limited menu

Probably my most favorite place to eat breakfast in West Jefferson. They have a lot of different things to choose from for breakfast and dinner. Food is great. The wait staff is friendly and the food comes out quickly.

We just had coffee & dessert. The place was really busy. Everyone was working really hard with the exception of one. The one was too busy messing with her acne instead of helping the other workers or even the customers. She just wanted to stand at the cash register. I don't think she really wanted to work.

I cook here and the food is good. It is prepared very well and the waitress staff is amazing. We also have a great boss!

Food was great. Building is dated and could use a facelift. There needs to be better signage from 221...like the hotel sign because it's kind of hidden back there. The food was very similar to the Waffle House but a much larger selection. Our waitress was very friendly. I would recommend.

Move over Waffle House and who needs a Huddle House, with the always great food, and always exceptional service at West Jefferson's Coffee House. Come one, come all and enjoy.

Good food..good service

The waitress was great but the cook had her cell phone plastered to the side of her face the entire time she cooked our food. Slow and not that great of cooking. I could've done better at home

Great breakfast

My son and I went at 2:30am. We were the only customers in the store. To say that I felt like our business was undesired is an understatement. The biscuits were old and hard as bricks. The gravy was entirely to thick from how long it had sat. The eggs were scorched. I know that it was late when we went. But if you are going to operate at such hours, each guest should be treated as such; a GUEST!!If I return, it will definitely be during busier hours. But that shouldn't be a problem for me. I am usually an early bird. Last night was just about bonding moments for me and my son. We decided to do something different to take advantage of both of us having a day off together and not having to wake up early.

You can do better. Food was fair. When we were done and after we'd sat for a while, I went to the counter hoping the woman standing there would give me our slip. She ignored me. I went back to the seat and saw our server and others coming back into the restaurant. Cigarette break? IDK. Again I went to the counter. I was told that it was inside the computer. Apparently they were running a shift report? The staff therefore was rude in my opinion for ignoring me and didn't seem like they care at all if you're in from out of town. Four workers that I could see. They could use improvement with their attitude. Best of luck to owners. We won't be back.

Great food and service!

Me and my daughter eat there for the first time in s long while. Food was very good the staff and cook worked hard . our drinks never got empty cant say enough about the wait staff. They seen a regular. customer pull in and had his coffee waiting on him when he walked in. Haven't seen that at alot restraunts in a while . will be going back to dine. Thank you to your cook and staff.
